Yellow Eyes Silver Toes

Hooray, my keyboard is fixed! I can type like a normal person and not a 13 year old Avril Lavigne fan again!

I was going through my blog pictures folder and came across this look from several months ago. it's not particularly exciting but I still thought I'd post it because I love yellow eyeshadow. I think it looks particularly good with blue eyes and not actually too over-the-top at all.

 

   


 

I cannot remember what's on my lips or face but my eyes are Sugarpill Buttercupcake and Tako, a colour from the MUA Heaven and Earth pallette and Illamasqua Paint Medium Pencil on the waterline.

And finally I had glittery nail polish on my toes the other day and decided to use the silver-foil trick to remove it. I just thought it looked quite hilarious.

    I'm terrified of yellow eyeshadow, but you're right, it looks great with blue eyes. :)

      I can't wear yellow clothes at all because it makes my face look all lobster coloured, but I can get away with eyeshadow :D

    I was terrified of Buttercupcake in my Burning Heart palette, too! It's one of my favorite colors to wear now, ever since I saw Christina Aguilera rocking it in her "Not Myself Tonight" video. IDGAF, I love her.

    Also, tell me more about this silver-foil trick, please!!

      I haven't seen that video, I should check it out cause she always has amazing makeup!
      The silver foil trick is great! you cut little nail-size pieces of cotton pad, soak it in polish remover and just put it on top of your nail. Then you take a strip of foil and wrap it around the top of your finger. Then you leave it for about 10 minutes for glitter polish. The foil just keeps the pad on the nail and stops the remover evaporating. It's irritating to have on the nails but so much better than scrubbing at glitter polish!

    I love yellow on blue eyes too! Buttercupcake is an awesome colour. I think I might need that Illamasqua pencil too..

      Ooh I don';t think I've ever tried a Makeup Store shadow, I love their holo nail polishes though.

    You're right, yellow does look really awesome with blue eyes! I haven't seen a lot of yellow shadow on blogs lately.
