Just a few funny faces

Hullo everyone. Things are a bit hectic with me at the moment so as usual I am being rubbish with blogging. What a surprise! Lillian being a bit rubbish? Never! :P

Anyway I've just popped on to drop off a few faces, hope you like!

I wore my hair in a pony-tail for the first time in many years:

I  know I was wearing Sleek Candy Cane on my lips, have forgotten everything else though because I am rubbish.

Here is a photo of the one time I wore makeup on my trip to the arctic circle. There was absolutely no point in me glamming up as I was wearing ridiculous amounts of layers that covered most of my face. My hair looks awesome here though! All I'd done was blowdry it and it turned into a brilliant big mane.

Face: Homemade Conjurers Cosmetics powder foundation, Sleek Pumpkin blush by 3 in Squash

Eyes: a few colours from the Sleek Storm palette, black mascara

Lips: Revlon lip butter in Candy Apple (applied very sheerly)

I'm going to redo this look as a tutorial soon because I like it.

Officially Number 2 at funny faces!

 I got an email yesterday from a reader in Spain to let me know that I am FAMOUS!

She was watching a TV program which shows youtube videos and other funny stuff from the internet and one section was a ranking of funny faces and who should appear at number 2 but yours truly!

  

Apparently  "This is the face you make when your mother tells you that you both share the same cyber-boyfriend" :P In real life I think I was pretending to be a monster.

I can't find it in myself to be annoyed that I've been on TV without giving permission, it's just too stupid and funny!

A few faces and outfits

Hullo! Sorry I've been gone again, I've not been very well.

Anyway I have some proper posts coming up (Look forward to Darling Girl and Cult Nails reviews and swatches very soon) but for now have a few recent faces and a couple of outfits. I'm not going to list what I'm wearing, but if you want to know any specific items just ask :)

Hmm there's nothing that exciting really is there? :/ I seem to be a bit lost with makeup/blogging at the moment (though I think that's more to do with being poorly and falling so behind than anything else) so would really appreciates any requests for looks, swatches, reviews or anything really. Tell me what you'd like to see!

Funk to Funky

Last saturday was David Bowie at a club I like. Claire and I decided to go.I hadn't been out dancing in a long long time and the first time in about 6 months I'd been and not had a panic attack on the way there. Hooray! It was actually quite nice and empty with lots of room for dancing. I had lots of fun.

I decided I of course had to do Bowie makeup, originally I wanted to do that weird gold-forehead-circle thing but didn't have time to come up with a good outfit so decided to be Pierrot Bowie like at the last Bowie night. This time though I tried to actually replicate the makep from the Ashes to Ashes video as best I could.

I thought I did quite a good job but sadly my round face and squashed strawberry looking nose just can't pull it off like Bowie and his cocaine chiselled cheekbones :(

 

Here I am doing my bet Klaus Nomi face. I hope my figure looks nicer in real life!

FOTD Going out to eat

Ok that last post was very important and needed to be written, but my blog has become to miserable, maudlin and grumpy, i need some stupidity and frivolity STAT!!

Last week Claire and I went for a date to my favourite restaurant, Marine Ices which does the worlds best Minestrone soup, tomato pasta and ice cream.

Here I am

 

Wearing:

Face: Can't remember. Probably Physicians Formula SPF 50 powder foundation in Translucent White.

Eyes: An eyebrow powder from Jelly Pong Pong's 'Wakeup Makeup' pallette on the eyebrows,  Too Faced Oooh and Aaah shadows, Sugarpill Tiara Chromalust, black liquid eyeliner, black mascara

Lips: Barry M patent pencil in Number 1

And Claire insisted on taking a photo of my outfit, even though it wasn't very exciting at all.

And the best part, ice creams!!

 

SO good! I had a scoop of white chocolate and one of toffee crunch with buterscotch sauce and chocolate bits (which were the yummiest ever) and whipped cream AND a hazlenut milkshake :D

Claire had a belgian waffle with Amaretto ice cream and the world's yummiest hot chocolate sauce and whipped cream and a Giandua (like praline) milkshake
