Illamasqua inspired eyeliner

I don't usually post promo images but I'm making an exception for these from the new Illamasqua 'I'mperfection' collection. They are amazing!

Gorgeous aren't they all? At the moment I have no money for makeup (thanks in part to the Illamasqua sale that just ended) but when I do that green gloss is MINE!

The last photo shows one of the signature looks of the collection, the speckled eye. I absolutely loved this idea. It's so simple and yet I don't remember having seen it done anywhere before! It reminds me of a feather or snow. Both good things!

So anyway I had a go at recreating the look and I absolutely love it on me!

Wearing:
Face: Illamasqua Skin Base in 02, Sleek concealer and Correcter in 1, Illamasqua powder blusher in SOPHIE
Eyes: MUA matte eyeshadow in 16, Illamasqua eyeshadow in Blink, Illamasqua Precision Ink liquid eyeliners in Scribe and Abyss, MUA pencil eyeliner in Snow White (on waterliner), black mascara
Lips: No 7 Moisture Drence lipstick in Waterlily

OK I think I went a bit overboard on the white but I think it looks great and I felt absolutely gorgeous!
It was dead easy to do too. I think I might try adding some pink or other colour ala Robyn. Will you be trying this look? What do you think of the campaign images?

Scribe

Ok who else hates the new blogger? I absolutely loathe it! I'm sure I'll get used to it but for now it's making me grumpy everytime I log on.

Here's a look I did the other day using my newly purchased (when they had an Easter sale) Illamasqua precision Ink in Scribe. I really like white eyeliner, it's not as classic as black but I still think it's flattering. It's really eyecatching, makes my eyes look super blue and my eyelashes look really long because of the contrast between the black mascara and white liner!

Wearing:
Face: Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation in 01, ELF Studio HD powder, Sugarpill Dollipop eyeshadow (worn as blush)
Eyes: Darling Girl Cosmetics eyeshadows in Blitzen and Rudolph, Illamasqua Precision Ink eyeliner in Scribe, Black mascara (can't remember which), Illamasqua medium pencil in Vow
Lips: Conjurers Cosmetics lipstick (made by me :P)

What do you think, would you wear white eyeliner on your upper lids or just stick to the waterline? Do you think I look freakish or awesome?
A couple of funny faces under the cut :P

Jellyminx Thinks contest entry number 2 - Snowdrop

This time i based my look around one of my birth months flowers, and one of my personal favourites, snowdrops.

It's sort of an updated version of my mistletoe and wine look from before christmas.

You totally can't tell, because i couldn't get a good picture, but on my lips, over the baby pink pencil, the gloss has an amazing green reflect. Boo.

Avon loose powder
Illamasqua powder blusher in Nymph

Eyes:
white pencil eyeliner (on waterline and eyebrows)
ELF eye transformer (the green section) as a higlight
Hi Fi eyeshadow in Grinch all over lid
Barry M dazzle dust in the crease
white liquid eyeliner
black mascara
