Wow

So sometime between last night and now I got my 700th and 701st followers!
All I can say is, well, wow! Thank you so so much. It absolutely amazes me that so many people could possibly be interested in my little witterings.

I know this may sound super silly but it really makes me feel wonderful to know that there are people who like my blog and what I have to say. At the moment I'm very isolated, I have few friends and I'm too anxious to see the ones I do have very often and so being able to talk to people over the internet really means a lot. Keeping this blog has helped my confidence in ways I can't really describe.

Hopefully soon I'll have the finances or find some other way to do a giveaway so I can give something back to you, but for now I'll just say that I am so grateful and I just hope I can keep entertaining you!

Questions

Does anyone have any questions (about anything, beauty, fashion, personal or whatever. Though if they're too personally I might choose not to answer. I'm pretty open though :P) they'd like to ask me? I really like answering questions, and if any came up a lot I could do a FAQ thing :)

Also does anyone know of a (relatively) cheap pale pink or flesh toned eyeliner? I've heard they're great for giving you a wide-eyed look when you use it on the waterline, but the only ones I've seen are from Benefit (which I think is discontinued now, not sure though) and one from YSL or someone else high end, and I can't afford that stuff :P

I'd also like to welcome and thank the new followers I've gained recently. I really do appreciate the support you guys give me so so much and am still a bit amazed that so many people are interested in my posts. I've started collecting stuff for a giveaway, but I want it to be a really good one and need to save up some money for prizes so it might not be for a while. Rubbish night, amazing hair

Phew! I've just been through every post for this month and replied to every comment, so please if you're interested in reading my reply to you please have a look :)

Last night was pretty terrible for me. I was meant to be going out dancing to celebrate my birthday (this is actually the nearest to my birthday i could get all my friends together!) and then things just kept going wrong. Firstly my friend Ian said he couldn't come, then Claire fell down the stairs (she's fine but hurt her butt :() so she couldn't come, Matt who is also my sisters ex boyfriend but i also consider him a friend decided it would be too hard for him to come (as Lydia was coming too), then my friend Philippa had to work, but said she'd be at my house around 10, which was fine. Then something went wrong at phillys work and she was going to be late, but didnt know by how much. Then i couldn't find my passport (which i needed for I.D.). Then when i found it we waited a bit more for philippa, but when she finally arrived it was about half 11 and too late to go out (it would have taken us about an hour and a half to get to da club)
as id had a bit to drink i got really, really upset.
Anyway it was a real waste because i'd given myself amazing hair and makeup. It was a 70s glam-rock club, so i'd gone really overboard with glitter and metallics and neon and everything. My hair was really awesome, i stole the idea from an episode of Canadas next top model, where the hair was all pulled and teased to one side as if the wind was blowing it:

someone took a couple of photos, but only after id been crying, so my makeup is probably wrecked. I'll still show them when i get them because of the hair :P

I've cheered myself up today by watching a huge amount of television.

On friday i spent a great deal of the day swatching a lot of indie companies makeup i've bought recently. Great fun, but unfortunately now i have many, many photos of my lips and i need to either work out what gloss they're wearing or re-take them. Stupid me! For this reason my Fyrrinae will probably be first (because i could easily tell their lip shades apart) even though this was actually the last parcel i recieved.

I'm at 99 followers now. I'm amazed, seriously. When i started this blog it was really just for my own benefit, i had no idea so many people would actually be interested in reading what i have to say. Thank you all so, so much, it really means so much and i just hope you continue to enjoy this blog!

100th post!!

I hope you all had a great christmas!
Mine was partly very stressful as my grandma and aunty came up and they are now very old, frail and going senile, so it really added to the usual stress of christmas. Dinner was very tasty, but there were so many people my sister Lydia and i had to sit on our own at a ridiculously tiny table. It was hilarious. Imade the pudding and it was really delicious if i do say so myself. In the afternoon I stayed at home alone for a few hours while my mum and Lyd took grandma and aunty back to worthing, unfortunately for them my aunty vomited all over the car about half way there D:! However the evening was lovely, we watched eastenders and gavin and stacey and other tv and i was recieved a load of amazing presents!

I was thoroughly spoiled, especially by my mum and girlfriend! I'm going to post pictures of what i got soon.

Today my girlfriend came home so we had a second chirstmas celebration! She made dinner this time and it was amazing, she makes the best roast potatos in the world. And i spent the day mainly cuddling her and watching movies, as a christmas day should be spent.

Lyds ferrets were staying with us, they have a cage in the bath but sometimes we let them run free around the bathroom. Feargal (the big boy ferret) worked out how to open the cage by pushing his mighty nose against the opening thing at the top so we had to weight it down. Rikku (a small, shrimmpy girl) managed to climb into the toilet, yesterday Feargal put himself back into the cage to go back to bed! And today Rikku managed to knock a jug over and it smashed. <3 Beauties. They've gone home now and i already miss them and their weird smell.

On wednesday i'm having a christmas celebration with my friends, then thursday is new years, don't know what i'm doing though. On saturday i'm going to my friend Foz's party in Brighton and then it's my birthday a week today! I'm gonna do my best to continue posting regularly, as it makes me happy, but i may be absent until after my birthday. Having said that i've finished the illustrations for the book i'm working on and don't have any paintings that need finishing, so i do have a lot of free time. We'll see how it goes.

In other news i'm watching the remake of Day of the Triffids. I've been with it from the very start and it's about to finish. I honestly have no clue what is going on.

I just wanted to say thank you again to all of you reading this. i've been at this blog for about half a year now and it really is so rewarding and i just hope you are finding it a fun and interesting read. I'm planning on doing another giveaway soon and i hope i can keep you interested with my posts. If you have any requests or ideas for my posts i'd be delighted to hear them!

It's Christmas eve eve! :D
Thank you all for your comments on my recent posts, i went with the general consensus that my cherubim look was the best of my christmas faces and have entered that one in the competition (but it hasn't shown up yet, i got it posted by the deadline but maybe the administrator had to review it before the deadline, that would suck :() and i am so happy to say that my reverse rococo look is one of the finalists in the Mizz worthy Illamasqua out of the box competition. My fingers are crossed!

I should hopefully be back to blogging properly a few days after christmas. I have a lot of great reviews started and just recieved an amazing haul from aromaleigh i can't wait to share!

I hope all of my followers, or indeed anyone reading this, has a wonderful christmas, or just a nice holiday if you don't celebrate it.
I'm looking forward to sitting around sharing a nice vegetarian roast with my family and then snuggling up and watching the gruffalo and lots of other tv. I'll also be having an extra christmas celebration on the 29th when my girlfriend gets back from visiting her family. And then getting together with friends on the 30th, and then it's new years eve, though i probably will just celebrate quietly at home. And then it's my birthday on the fourth of january! I like this time of year.

Thank you for all your wonderful support, i only started this blog in the autumn but i can honestly say it's made a difference to my life, it's wonderful being able to share with like-minded people and everone i've met has been so kind and welcoming, thank you all.
